The UNGER pure water cleaning system: Cleaning system using the deionization method

Deionization produces exceptionally high-quality pure water, as 100% of minerals are removed. The UNGER HydroPower Ultra LC pure water system contains three 6-liter resin bags. As tap water passes through the ion-exchange resin bags, all minerals present in the water are removed (through an ion exchange process), resulting in demineralized water that is ideal for cleaning windows. Depending on the water hardness and the level of soiling on the surface being cleaned, a resin charge lasts for varying durations. For average water hardness, the pure water filter produces approximately 2,450 liters of pure water, providing about 20 hours of continuous cleaning at a flow rate of 120 liters per hour. To ensure the best possible water quality, a TDS sensor measures the water hardness. As soon as the reading exceeds 10 PPM, it means the resin bags need replacing. Thanks to the KeyLock system, even beginners can do it in no time, without any risk of error. During transport, the shut-off valve at the base of the filter closes easily, preventing water from leaking into the vehicle.
